I love Pixie Faire because of the wonderful wide and extensive range of patterns and supplies I use to make fabulous doll clothes for my two beautiful Granddaughters. I make both 18" doll clothes for the older girl and 15" baby doll clothes for her little sister. Since they both got their dolls this past summer, I’ve been making matching outfits for child and doll each time I sew for them. I never thought I’d like making doll clothes, but I absolutely LOVE making them, and the patterns I get from Pixie Faire are a huge part of my enjoyment! Thank You!

(I love the easy ones! – though there may not be enough space to answer this one . . . ) I love Pixie Faire because . . . Pixie Faire saved my life! My granddaughter got her first American Girl doll but the budget wasn’t big enough for much else. Pixie Faire’s selection is so varied and current, yet it also offers traditional doll clothes, shoes, accessories and helpful videos. Well, with a few clicks the patterns were printing and I started sewing. I filled a doll trunk for her. She was shaking with excitement when she opened all of it and filled the trunk. Then came Star Wars and her (now 2) dolls became Jedi Cadets. Now Harry Potter . . . Pixie Faire has also come to my rescue dressing Bitty Babies for another little girl. I love all the various designers and their stories. I love the pictures of finished clothes that people share. I look forward to see what surprise Freeby Friday brings. I love that there are knitting and crochet patterns available as well. I love that there are hard to find notions, kits, and packets of supplies . . . (that’s one breath . . . ) What I love about Pixie Faire? Well, I could go on but I guess I what I really love best is supporting good honest people who are sharing their talents, interests and are out there supporting people in their communities and the world.

I love to see their smiles and eye’s light up when they see a new outfit I have made all of the outfits are so easy to make and they love to learn by watching it’s so rewarding to pass on the art of sewing and crafting to a new generation and we are always excited to see the new a different outfits and dolls.

I love Pixie Fairie because it has given me the tools to make wonderful outfits for my two granddaughters 18 inch dolls! I love the variety of the patterns and the way the instructions clearly laid out. I can make outfits out of my sewing scrapes for far less than I can buy them and they don’t fall apart the first time they are taken on or off the dolls! My granddaughters love them?

I like pixiefairie to get supplies to make doll shoes. That way I can afford to make them for the 18" dolls I dress and give to Toys for Tots for Christmas each year. I do two or three dolls a year with full wardrobes and even a wooden bed with bedding set.

Ive been making doll clothes for over 50 years, starting with Barbie clothes in the 70’s and after retiring 8 years ago, I sew every week for the American Girl 18" doll and selling at at annual craft fair. Each year I buy a doll and make clothes for a 5 year old girl that is in my life. I want her to experience the joy that I remember when I received a doll and clothes that my mother made for me on my fifth Christmas. This year it is for a foster child that lives with my cousin’s family. I’d love to have this doll for my next year’s give away. I love #pixiefaire because it brought back my childhood love of dolls and doll dress making, making me shed my adult angst and return to my nostalgic childhood defined by simple loves and girlish pleasures. I thought my springs of innocence were dry but when pixiefaire held a mirror to my soul i realized how much they were stifled by the so-called “big things.” There is nothing like girlish pastimes to resurrect a flustered woman’s soul.
