More About Cherie (in her own words): I have been sewing since I was about 4 years old. I learned to sew at my mothers knee. I learned to sew Barbie clothes not by hand, but by machine. I remember when I was about 10 seeing an outfit that my Grandmother had made for her Barbie that she had done completely by hand and thinking why would anyone take that kind of time. I learned to crochet at age 7 again under my mother's watchful eye. I also learned to knit but as crochet builds faster knitting fell the way of hand sewing I do if needed. I am the wife to a software engineer and mother to 4 daughters that I home schooled for most of their elementary years. When I am not designing and writing doll clothes patterns I work as a teachers aide in a private school.

Cabbage Roses Crochet Pattern For 18" Dolls: The Cabbage Rose pattern provides another twist on the oval vest pattern. It's main feature is the surprise of 3 roses down the back. Crocheted using bedspread weight (size 10) crochet cotton, it works up fairly fast.

I don’t crochet (yet) so my vote goes to the button up beauties. It’s such a cute pattern and my granddaughters’ bitty baby dolls need more clothes! Thank you for your generosity!

Thank you Cherie for all these cute patterns on offer! I LOVE the vest pattern but I don’t crochet and have no one to ask to do it for me, so I’m choosing the shoe pattern. It looks pretty simple and very cute! The Bitty Baby patterns are so sweet too, especially the matching boy/girl outfits, but I don’t need to make clothes for them right now.
