Hi everyone,
On Friday (July 27th, 2018) we will offer a pattern from Chris Saunders of Love U Bunches for free as a special one-day only event. We'd love to have you vote to help us decide which pattern will win, then be sure to come back Friday to get your free copy.
More about Chris and Love U Bunches, (in her own words).
My journey into designing doll clothes patterns began in 2012 when my granddaughter decided she wanted an American Girl® doll. So I bought her a doll... and I bought one for me! Since she lives in Wisconsin and I live in Texas, I had to have my own doll so I could sew outfits and send them to her. My family was so impressed with the outfits that I was sending to her that they decided I should sell my patterns online. When I couldn’t think of an original name for my company, my amazing daughter-in-law came up with Love U Bunches because that is how I sign all the cards and letters that I send to my granddaughters: Love U Bunches, Grandma!.
More information about the patterns:
Peasant Blouse Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: Welcome back to the 1970s! This cute little Peasant Blouse is sure to bring back memories of tie-dyed tee shirts, headbands, and bell bottomed jeans! It looks great over leggings or jeans. So put a flower in your hair and let's get stitching!!!
Bandana Blouse Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: This PDF pattern features a cute little top and is made from one pattern piece and one bandana! Retro Apron Designed To Fit Girls and Dolls: Create a little bit of history for your 18" doll with this 1960s Retro Apron pattern. In the early 1960s, cross stitched gingham aprons were all the rage. The little squares that make up gingham fabric provide the perfect background for cross stitching. Gingham comes in a variety of colors and so does 6-stranded embroidery floss. Pattern options are endless! This PDF sewing pattern includes apron instructions for the following sizes: 18" doll, child medium (waist approximately 24"), adult (one size fits all).

je vote pour Simply Summer Sundress For 18 Inc
I picked the aprons. We (me and the only other girl student in the Math Dept) made some of these for Christmas presents when I was in college (1968 or 1969??). They were quick and fun to make and I could do the easy-peasy cross stitching while waiting between classes. I made one for my mother and two sisters, but used a plastic clip, waistband thing, instead of tie sashes. 30 years later, I found my mother’s in her stuff after she passed away — all folded up neatly in the original Christmas wrapping and tucked away — never used!. I was glad she treasured it.

I love your story about how you started, and the name of your little company. I let my grand daughters name everything, so i love that your daughter in law picked that for a name and why. So sweet. I personally like the bandana shirt best, but my grand daughter picked the dress, so im happy with whatever the choice, and will be purchasing more of your patterns in the future. Especially now that i know the story. Pixie faire has become my go to company, love all the fun choices. Thanks so much for free pattern.
