More About Each Pattern:

The Peleton Jacket Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: Get a fresh new look with the cropped motorcycle jacket featured in the Liberty Jane Spring 2014 Euro Libby Outfit: Peleton! Whether your doll is riding in France or shopping with friends, she will look fabulous in this trendy cropped jacket. Mixing tweed and lace gives the classic motorcycle jacket a fresh new twist. This fully lined jacket includes a separating zipper, epaulettes and lace accents. Try using a faux suede or leather for the collar to give it that trendy look. Suggested fabrics include lightweight tweed, linen, denim or faux leather. When choosing a lace fabric, be sure to double check the scale of the pattern so it’s not too big for the doll!

The Le Marais Coat Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: The Liberty Jane® Le Marais Coat 18 inch Doll Clothes PDF pattern. The stylish coat featured in both the Liberty Jane® Fall 2012 Euro Libby: Le Marais and 2014 Destination Dresden outfits is now available as a pdf sewing pattern! Your doll will be ready to gallery hop during a visit to Le Marais in this beautiful fully lined coat. Details include princess seaming, topstitched seams, working front buttons, and cute tiny accent buttons on the cuff.

The Schoolboy Blazer Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: This darling knit schoolboy blazer PDF sewing pattern designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl® hits just the right fashion mark!  Looks great worn with your doll’s favorite denim jeans or dress it up with accessories. This blazer is unlined to keep things simple and reduce bulk when layering.  We've included instructions for the couture sewing technique of Hong Kong binding to finish off the edges of the interior seams in a beautiful way. Bind with a splash of color to give a little “surprise and delight” to the inside! This blazer features real buttons and button-hole closure, back vent and faux flap pockets. Recommended fabrics: double-sided knits, ponte and any other medium weight, stable knit

Stratford Swing Coat Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: Featured in the 2015 Euro Libby: Stratford outfit, this detailed swing coat designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®, is fully lined and features welt pockets, interesting geometric piecing, back pleats and a cute flounce. Mix the classic stylings of the swing coat with the on-trend vision of Liberty Jane® and Voila! You get this beautiful designed jacket! Fabric choice is very important when making this coat as the back flounce needs a somewhat drapey fabric that will allow the subtle folds to form. Suggested fabrics include: lightweight wool, rayon/poly blends, suiting and a lightweight twill. The lining can be made from any poly or rayon lining fabric. We used a delicate cotton lawn print to add a little special treat to the inside of the jacket pictured. Looking for in-depth instruction on topics such as sewing welt pockets or adding buttons and buttonholes? Check out our Master Class Video courses: Sewing Simple Closures and Sewing Perfect Pockets, both available for instant download.

School Boy Jacket and Peleton Jacket are the only 2 that I don’t have. My vote goes to the School Boy Jacket. Thank you so much for Freebie Fridays!

This week I’m voting for the Schoolboy Blazer. It has the look for all occasions and would suit any look you are striving for in a practical jacket. The Hong Kong binding technique interests me as well as I am not familiar with this method of finishing interior seams. Thank you for including this jacket in your selections this week Cinnamon, and for all your weekly offerings.
