Which style do you like best? Be sure to vote to help us decide which look is best and be entered into the giveaway to win both of these dresses! Get to know Dianne Saunders (in her own words): "I can remember my Mom setting at our kitchen table sewing in the evenings. I must have been 5 or 6 years old, hovering over her watching in awe as she would sew a dress for my sister or myself. I couldn't wait to grow up and start sewing. As soon as Mom knew I had an interest she started teaching me a little at a time. How to read a pattern, placing it correctly on the material. Mom would give me scraps for my dolls and I would hand sew my own creations, loving every moment. In the 60's the 7th and 8th graders had Home Economics. In order to graduate from 8th grade we had to sew our own graduation dress. I found myself helping my class mates from cutting out their patterns and giving hints on how to sew the dress together. Because of Mom and the love of sewing, I have been sewing my whole life. In 2014 my Niece asked me to sew her girls some 18'' doll cloths. Up for the challenge and giving me an excuse to sew doll cloths once again, I started immediately. I rediscovered my love for dolls and designing new patterns to fit them. I wore 1950's girls dresses as a child and twirling around feeling like a princess. So, that is where I stared my doll collection. So, create what you love, share what you know, and be inspired every day."

Inquiring Minds Want To Know...
Q: What's your favorite food?
Dianne: I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I have great memories of My Mom and Dad taking us to his favorite Mexican food restaurant. I am always trying to recreate those memories with my Kids, sharing my best Mexican food with them.
Q: What's your favorite tv show or movie?
Dianne: I just love time period programs. Like Downton Abby, or the 2005 film Pride & Prejudice. I am fascinated with their way of life and adore the clothing that was warn at that time.
Q: Coffee or Tea??
Dianne: With all the variations that are out there today, why choose, love them both.
Q: Where's your favorite place to shop?
Dianne: Any fabric store. I adored going to the fabric store with my Mom growing up. All those possibilities just waiting to happen. I still feel the same way when I walk into a fabric store today.
Q: What inspired your brand name?
Dianne: My favorite doll didn't have a name. So, I called her Dolly not knowing that a girl could be called Dolly as a nick name or first name. So I named my line: Dolly Wears.
Q: What is your dream vacation?
Dianne: Take me to Paris to see all those new fashions. A dream come true.
We'd love to hear from you. Leave a comment and tell us - which look is best! And be sure to thank Dianne for giving away such a cute outfit!

I hope to be able to share some dolly clothes and accessories with my granddaughters that are living out of the country now. I miss them so much and want their childhood to have much happiness and joy!
Nothing can beat The Wizard of Oz!
Thank you Dianne for creating such a charming dress. The outfit I think looks best is the “Sunday Best” one since I feel the black shoes go better with the dress than the red ones do. Plus, I think the headband goes great with the dress as well. Once again, thanks for designing such a charming dress.
Love them both! ‘Sew’ hard to pick one,but will chose Kansas Girl

Thanks for the great giveaway.
Super cute
Thanks for showing us this great gingham dress pattern. I like the Sunday Best pattern the best.
Dianne, thank you so much for your doll designs. I love the outfit you’ve chosen to showcase and give away today. I too learned to sew by watching my mom create such cute clothes for me to wear. Around the 4th grade I decided I needed to get serious and start sewing for myself 😉! Like your mom, my mom taught me little by little and I am blessed that she was so patient and giving of her incredible talent. I must choose the “Kansas Girl” look as that is where my mom was born and I have many fond memories of spending Kansas summers on my grandfather’s farm!
Kansas Girl is adorable!
I love the Sunday Best
I love them both! But for now I will chose the Sunday Best :)
I really like both outfits, but I think I’ll go with Sunday Best, it looks elegant on the curly haired doll!
Kansas is so cute Thank you
Thanks to Pixie Faire for the opportunity, Dianne, thank you for the dress and your interview! The nod to “Dorothy” was cute, but all that lace lent itself to “Sunday Best” and the red hair / blue (green?) eyes looked great with blue gingham.
Thank you Dianne for the give away!!! Super cute! I must say Kansas girl is my favorite – however that outfit has the ’’unfair" advantage of having a cute puppy with it! ;-) And what is it with baskets?!? They are sooo adorable in doll size! <3
Kansas girl. Cute dress.
KANSAS GIRL..LIKE THE DOG & BASKET

Love the braids on the Kansas City look doll Really goes with the gingham.
Love how it looks in both, but prefer the Sunday Best, it reminds me when I used to go out on Sundays with my mom, even though I don’t have the red hair!

Kansas girl made me smile - so cute.
I like Sunday Best outfit as it reminds me of when I was a child we always had a cute dress, polished shoes, with white socks, but we wore a hat and gloves as well. Mum made all our clothes as well, so this was a special day for us. Thanks for the memories.
Love the check material for a Dorthy dress!
My granddaughter will love the little fluffy dog, and pretending she is In The Wizard of Oz. She loves theater, so I thank you for offering this cute idea.
The dress is darling on both girls, but I am a sucker for the “Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz” look!
I love the outfit. But when I saw those “red shoes” & the "little dog’ I have to vote for that “Dorothy look alike” outfit. Just a lovely fabric choice, as well as the trimming & its design on the dress.
Sunday Best, Adorable and her coloring gives a softer appearance overall.
Both are real cute hard to decide but think I like the Kansas Girl the best.
Love them both. I vote for Sunday’s best. Thank you
I think that Sunday Best is my favorite. And I like the rehead with her hair down.
The doll that looks best to me is Sunday’s Best, but I like the accessories of Kansas Girl a lot. I just think the redhead doll looks better in the outfit. To me she would win wearing either outfit.
i like both but; if I choose the red head!
LOVE Kansas Girl!! Thank you for the giveaway!
Dianne, you do beautiful work. I have such fond memories of watching “Wizard of Oz”, so I had to choose Kansas Girl.

Oops, I voted for the wrong doll. I still voted for Kansas Girl but the red head distracted me.
Kansas girl has the cutest accessories. I love the basket and dog.
Thank you Dianne for a wonderful outfit! Both looks are wonderful, but I picked Sunday Best because I usually prefer my girls to be dressed rather not costumes. However, I’m a HUGE Wizard of Oz fan! I love how versatile this dress is. Jenni
