Hi everyone,
The question is simple, which doll models it best?
This week's Mod Doll Monday contest is featuring the adorable work of Genine Allan of Genniwren Patterns and Genniwren Embroidery designs. She combined several patterns (mentioned below) to create this fun Scouting Outfit designed to fit American Girl Dolls. Be sure to vote to help us decide which doll models it best.
More About The Dolls:
American Girl Tenney Grant: According to the American Girl® website, The 18" Tenney doll has light brown eyes that open and close, freckles on her nose, and long, curly blond hair. Tenney’s unique hand positioning helps her hold her guitar, banjo, and pick! She arrives in a graphic tee, denim vest, faux-leather skirt, and ankle boots. Also included are a woven bracelet and the Tenney paperback book.
Truly Me 65: According to the American Girl® website, The 18-inch Truly Me doll has light skin, layered red hair, and blue eyes. A huggable cloth body, eyes that open and close, hair that can be styled, and a movable head and limbs made of smooth vinyl. This set also features the Love to Layer Accessories, which can be mixed and matched to create fun new looks!
More About The Outfit: This Scouting uniform is embellished with authentic looking badges and patches made using all 6 sets of the GWD Mini club patches embroidery designs. There are 13 patches already sewn onto the front of the patch and an additional 12 patches are included for you to sew on the back as your doll earns them! The tab on the poloshirt includes a jewelled brad to represent the membership badge. Love the look and want to make it yourself? Perfect! The polo shirt was made using the free Doll Duds Polo Shirt pattern. The pants were made using the Liberty Jane Bootcut Jeans pattern. The sash was made from the Peppermintsticks Club Uniform pattern. The sneakers were paired with the outfit to complete the look.
