Thanks everyone,

Lydia wears the dress better. Both are beautiful though.
The dress looks best on Lydia, by far. Clementine’s short hair throws it off.
Lydia’s wearing this one the best. Love the dress.
Clementine. Both dolls are pretty but Clementine wears it best. I love that era in history and Thimbles and Acorns patterns are great. Thank you so much for this giveaway. I would love to have a AGAT doll.
A postscript to my first comment:
Thank you, Shari, for sharing your gift. I realize that Lydia was your model for the AGAT pattern, but Clementine just set my imagination in motion. Clementine could find abolitionist writings that mention John England’s school and old Godey’s Lady’s Books in the house where she stays and when she falls asleep, dreams this heroic adventure in America, far from the war-torn British Isles.
Lydia’s hair makes her look more appropriate, but the outfit is made for Clementine’s coloring, and Sarah Hale partnered with Louis Godey. I can imagine a backstory that calls for Clementine, the merciful girl, to pose as a boy after losing her parents who helped with the Underground Railroad, somehow meeting Sarah Hale, becoming Sarah’s eyes and ears on the street to run errands, and helping to seek information for Godey’s magazine. Imagine Clementine’s being gifted this dress for her dedication and hard work.
The dress look best on Clementine because of her coloring. both dolls are beautiful.and thank you for this give-away.
Definitely Lydia. Girls in the time of this wonderful style never cut their hair unless they had a serious illness. Clementine looks like she is a modern girl dressing up for a Victorian party.
I think Clementine’s hair, eyes & coloring look better in the dress. It does seem to fit Lydia’s time frame though. I absolutely love both girls & the dress is gorgeous!
Lydia. Wears it best. However those green eyes on Clementine are very pretty.
Clementine
Clementine as I feel her colouring suits the outfit the best
Thank you Shari for giving away such a beautiful dress, styled for that era and using fabrics that also have an old world look. Both dolls are lovely. I first clicked on Clementine because of her bright shock of hair. Then I changed my mind, as most girls back then would have had the longer hair. Both are very nice dolls and the clothing is suitable for either. Thank you Pixiefaire for the contest give-a-way.-Toogie
I don’t know who wears it best, maybe Clementine, but I really like this dress!
Double cute!
It looks nice on both girls, however, I love how the dress
brings out the color of Clementine’s eyes and compliments the color of her hair. My vote is for Clementine.
It looks best with Clementine’s short hair but the dress period best jives more with Lydia. It’s close but I’m voting for Clementine because she looks like a rebel who will wear whatever darn period she wants
The dress is a beautiful period dress and Lydia has the look to best suit the dress.
I love Clementine’s hair but I think the era of the dress suits Lydia the best.
The look of the dress fits Lydia best. That dress is adorable!
Lydia. Definitely Lydia.
Lydia wears it best. No question about it!! Thank you Shari, the dress is awesome!!
Clementine wears it best, I like that her red hair matches better with the dress.
My vote goes to Lydia. I love the way this dress looks on her!
I think Lydia wears it the best for the era. I have the pattern but haven’t made it yet.
These dolls are so very cute. It breaks my heart that my youngest granddaughter, age 10, is beginning to lose the desire to play with dolls. If it wasn’t for her passion for making doll clothes, I don’t know how much she would get her dolls out at all. But she loves making the clothes and can’t get enough of that! Thank you for continuing her time with dolls in any way.
Clementine, she’s cute and even though I don’t have red hair like the doll, my Dad calls me Clementine everyday!
I went back and forth, but decided on Lydia. Even though Clementine’s coloring is pretty with the dress, Lydia’s hair and look just make the dress. She is a bit elegant, just like the dress.
These dollies are both absolutely adorable…as is the lovely dress (and all patterns) created by Shari Fuller! Though selecting a “best” model was extremely difficult, I ultimately voted for Clementine. The pretty colors in the dress fabric perfectly compliment her hair and complexion coloring, and her beautiful green eyes just sparkle in this dress.
Clementine her hair shows off the beautiful neckline.
I vote Lydia. they both look good in the dress but Lydia looks more suited to the it. And a big thank you for designing the dress.
I love both!!! I love the long dark hair on Lydia, love that dress on her!
Clementine, because this dress makes her green eyes just pop.
It was a tough choice, but then I thought, ’Oh my darling – Clementine!"
I believe that Clementine models the dress just a little bit better because her coloring works better with the colors of the fabric.
Definitely Clementine. She reminds me so much of my beautiful granddaughter.
Both are adorable, but Clementine’s coloring looks best in this dress.
I think Clementine wears it best. Thank you for all the fabulous giveaways. Congratulations on 2,000,000 downloads.
I like both the dolls….two hard to pick but Clementine is the best hair and eye color are just lovely..
Clemintine is best
Lydia wears this gown better because her hair style is more suitable for this era.
They are both adorable. I like the colors on Clementine a little better, but the style is not right for her…she’s a little more feisty and modern. This darling dress is for sweet Lydia. Love this pattern.
They are both adorable but I think Lydia models it best
Clementine is cute…but I really like Lydia! She is so feminine and yet perky.
The dress is adorable…stylish and the details are beautiful.
I love clementine in the dress.
I love both but clementine hair colour just suits the green dress more in my lydia is very pretty as well but clementtine gets my vote
I love Lydia’s hair with the dress. It seems to compliment the dress, and has a softer look.
Lydia is my favorite. She has such a sweet expression.
I love Clemantine, the red sandy hair says it all.
Clementine has the perfect look for the dress
Somehow this dress just seems to say Clementine. It’s as if after a long day of shopping you try one more dress and a everything falls into place, this is the one! Wearing it makes you feel better, look confident and ‘be yourself’. Hopefully we have all had an outfit that has let us experience all of these – Clementine seems to have.
Lydia, hands down.
I think Lydia wears it best.
I love the way both of them look in the dress they are beautiful but I will have to go with Clementine the eye color and hair makes it stand out a little more. Thank you they are just beautiful.
Clementine looks like she’s ready to say “Pick me!” while Lydia looks like she’s thinking “Do you have to take ANOTHER picture!”
I guess I am a traditionalist. Lydia looks the best!
Very difficult decision but in the end I will go for Lydia
Clementine, has my vote, she is such a darling.
I love both but I love the color of the dress on Clementine the best.
Both dolls are amazing but my choice is Lydia.
I love the dress and the fabric!
The dress is gorgeous and it looks beautiful on both dolls; however, I think Clementine gets my vote given the coloring of the dress, and Clementine’s hair and eye color. Like so many others have said, that dress with her coloring just pops! I do think the long hair on Lydia is more keeping with the era but Clementine is the best model for the dress.
Both dolls and the dress are beautiful. If forced to choose one, I would choose Clementine. Thanks for the chance to win!
I think Clementine models the dress best because her shorter hair allows you to see more of the dress. The colors in the dress are enhanced with her red hair.
I vote for Clementine. IMHO, her red hair and green eyes match perfectly with the colors in the dress.
The dress is lovely and they are both so adorable, but I will pick Clementine, just because her uneven stick-straight hair tickles me.
I vote for Clementine. The colors in the dress enhance her coloring. BTW I would not mind winning her.
I think the dress looks best on Lydia with the long brown hair.
I love Clementine. Her red hair and impish face make me smile.
They are both gorgeous!
I like Clementine. She depicts the child essence for the dress
While Lydia has the hair length to match the period Clementine has the coloring. She wears it beautifully.
LOVE this dress, thank you for sharing! I vote for Clementine because I like how her short hair shows off the neckline!
Lydia is an ideal model for this dress with her demure expression and long dark hair and she gets my vote. Clem seats it well, too, with a sort of Jo March take charge kind of at.
Clementine looks the best. Goes great with her hair and eye coloring.
The dress is adorable and would look good on any doll. My favorite of the 2 is clementine. I love her red hair and freckles.
Lydia
I love the dress on both dolls – but my vote is for Clementine! The red hair is a lovely compliment to the green of the dress. I have been admiring this doll for some time now and she is on my wish list so I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I will be the lucky winner. [Said out of the corner of my mouth in a whisper “pick me, pick me”.]
Lydia definitely looks better in the dress. They are both beautiful dolls. I also love the details in the dress, if only it was my size. Lol.
Both girls are beautiful as is the dress…only one vote though…Lydia
I like both dolls but the doll with dark hair makes the rust and green make the dresses come out.
Clementine’s hair color brings out the rust colors in the dress. Very pretty!
Lydia . I believe she looks the best with the long dark hair
Although Clementine is my favorite of the two dolls, I think this dress looks best on Lydia. I like it with her dark hair and dark eyes.
Lydia. The colour of the dress suits her colouring best.
Lydia is graceful and has beautiful hair, but for the dress era it would have been in an up do.
Clementine’s coloration is highlighted by the olive green of the dress. I love the details in the dress. I think Clementine is the ‘best dressed.’
Lydia for sure. Clem’s eye’s and hair do not mesh with the dress.
Clementine!
Her hair is short, allowing the dress details to stand out. And, the fabric of the dress is a complement to her hair color.
I chose Clementine because of her hair, both the coloring and the style seems to bring out the details of the dress. But, both are lovely.
I like the way it looks on Clementine. Just as a practical matter, I like the way her shorter hair reveals and shows off the details of the dress. I was a redhead as a young girl and everyone wanted to dress me in bright kelly green, which I detested. So I also like the more subdued olive print, which also brings out her beautiful eyes.
Lydia wears it best!
I love Lydia Her long dark hair and dress all go together.
Lydia has my vote as she is so graceful! Love her!
Clementine wins my vote! Love her red hair and green eyes!! She brings out the best of the burnt orange in the dress!! <3
Clementine wears it best. If I had the neckline on me the way Lydia does, I’d be going nuts and tugging at it constantly. On Clementine it lays nicely and would allow the wearer to go on with whatever she chose to do that day. Much as I prefer the long-haired doll, she just doesn’t wear the dress right.
Both girls look very cute in the Sarah Hale dress but Clementine wears it the best. With her green eyes she has a look of “child-like innocence”. With her green eyes and red hair the dress color is perfect. The dress is absolutely darling.
Thank you for another great pattern and opportunity to win. Kathleene
They are both both lovely in this dress, but I chose Lydia.
Clementine! The color of the dress sets off the color of her eyes perfectly!
I have to go with Clementine, too. That short red hair of hers just sets off the Sarah Hale dress to perfection.

Clementine models it best. The fabric matches her hair and eyes beautifully.
