Hi everyone,
The question is simple, who wears it best?
This week's Mod Doll Monday contest is featuring the adorable work of Genine Allan of Genniewren Patterns and Genniewren Embroidery designs. We've combined her sweater with several other pieces (mentioned below) to create this fun outfit designed to fit American Girl Dolls. Be sure to vote to help us decide which doll models it best.
More About The Dolls:
Truly Me 63: According to the American Girl® website, The 18-inch Truly Me™ doll has a huggable cloth body, eyes that open and close, hair that can be styled, and a movable head and limbs made of smooth vinyl. This doll has light skin tone, medium-length blond hair, and blue eyes. She arrives wearing a printed dress with a mesh hem, a zip-front moto jacket with a star zipper pull, and glittery flat shoes.
Truly Me 60: According to the American Girl® website, The 18-inch Truly Me™ doll has a huggable cloth body, eyes that open and close, hair that can be styled, and a movable head and limbs made of smooth vinyl. This doll has light skin tone, black-brown hair, and blue eyes. She arrives wearing a printed dress with a mesh hem, a zip-front moto jacket with a star zipper pull, and glittery flat shoes.
More About The Outfit: Smart enough for school, yet casual enough for weekend shopping trips it’s hard to imagine an occasion when your doll wouldn’t want to wear this fun, preppy-style cardigan. The front and sleeves feature striking two color pattern. The back of the cardigan is ribbed to ensure a snug yet easy fit. We've paired this sweater with a pair of classic black leggings and a stylish pair of lace up boots!

Such a cute sweater they would have too look good . The doll with short hair highlights the sweater best.
I like No. 60’s dark hair with the green sweater. Genine’s patterns are THE BEST! Thank you, Genine! ;)
No 63 wears it best and thank you Gennie Wren for contributing that gorgeous sweater.
Genine thank you for the cute designs you create. Difficult choice today as to who wears it best!!! Thank you, Cinnamon, for making this available to us…
I like #60 the best. Thanks for the chance to win.
60 looks the best in the cute sweater from Glennie Wren Designs Thank you
I like Number 63!
Cute, cute sweater! I like it best on #63!
60 wears it best with the darker hair and the dark stripes.
Love both of them , thank you for the giveaway
I like it on both dolls, but think it looks better on #63. Any chance you might make some knitting patterns to fit the Wellie Wishers? My granddaughter doesn’t have an American Girl doll yet. She’s turning 4 at the end of the month.
63 is the cutest.
Love them both!
I voted for #60 since she reminds me of my oldest daughter who also looks stunning in those colors!
I really like how the clothes look on 60! The black in the sweater looks good with the black in her hair, and the green complements her eyes.
Love the outfit Genine! It looks so cute on American Girl doll #60. Thanks to you and Cinnamon!
I wish I knew how to knit; the sweater is so cute! The outfit is particularly nice on #60 :)
My eye keeps being drawn back to #60. #63 looks a little washed out, I think.
I knit a sweater like this one for my daughter who looks exactly like #60. This brings back such lovely memories.
I believe that #60 wears it best in this instance because her dark hair really compliments the sweater. Thanks so much, Genine, for the sweet sweater and those boots – oh my!!!
I love the sweater and would love to have it!!
No. 60 wears it best.
