I love to sew because its a dying craft I feel accomplished when I finish something,. I would love to get the book on AD. My granddaughter has one, I would love to have ask me to make her an outfit. Ps they are going to Chicago next week to the American Girl Doll store. How spoiled is that.

Since sewing is no longer taught in most schools, children must learn from relatives who sew. It seems to be becoming a “lost art” As so many have commented, sewing and other needle crafts are a great way to spend time with a child and to teach them a valuable skill.
I have special memories of learning with relatives and friends and appreciate the time and patience of those who taught me.

I had not sewn for 30 + years, and I deciced I would start back into it by making doll clothes for my granddayghter. I discovered I could also make money at it too. Cinnamon has been an inspiration to me!

Sew glad to be . . . sewing.
Learned to sew in high school, sewed my own clothes and later my daughter’s, as well as shirts for hubby. Now I sew for the grandkids and really enjoyed discovering patterns for AG and other 18" dolls.
Would love to use your new book to help teach my granddaughters to sew. Love your patterns – easy to download, easy to follow.
