This is a great pattern! The design is gorgeous, quick & easy to sew, several different options to make all kinds of leotards. I’ve made a few options already with more cut and ready to sew. It fits the dolls perfectly and is just like a real gymnast leotard. Thank you so much for this pattern.
Pattern was easy to follow and the fit was perfect. Have used it several times.
I loved how easily this pattern sewed up, and the fit was absolutely PERFECT. I liked that the back neck was low cut enough that I didn't need to add a closure, but not so deep it looked "disrespectful". I paired it with a tutu I made by knotting tulle over a strip of elastic and the two together were sooooooooo adorable!
I am happy with this pattern. So far, I’ve only made the basic no-sleeve option. It was great to have the explanation of how to choose the the right kind of stretch fabric. The only thing I thought was missing was to say that seams should be 1/4 inch. I gathered this from reading the full pattern, but the first instruction is to sew the shoulder seams, and I was not sure. I guessed right, as the fit is perfect on my doll. My machine had a bit of difficulty with the stretchy fabric, but I’m hoping to try again with a different type of needle. Looking forward to making this pattern again. I’ve already cut out the next bodysuit.
The pattern was accurate and very easy to use. I have made the pattern without sleeves 3 times and they look great, however I made a pair with sleeves and found we couldn't get it on the doll, (My Generation not AG). I either need to find a fabric with more stretch or open it down the back
