I was a tester for this pattern. I love the Madeira Appliqué technique of layering fabrics and embellishing the edge with a decorative stitch. Cotton batiste, a can of heavy spray starch, and built-in machine stitches, and Voila! Lovely heirloom addition to my collection. What a great design. Great fit. I chose a blanket stitch instead of the buttonhole stitch.
