It’s nearly fall which means your doll will soon need all of those back-to-school essentials! We’ve rounded up the top ten school must-haves that your doll will need for the 2021-2022 school year. My absolute favourite year of school was my senior year of high school. I had finally found my stride. I knew who I was and I had made the best group of friends, many of whom I am still very close with to this day 40 years later, and I was happy!
I guess my favorite grade was third grade. I loved my teacher. We had two grades in one classroom so she was my fourth grade teacher too. Then she moved up to 5/6 grade so I had her two more years. We moved at the end of 6th grade and Mrs. Babin and I even corresponded for a little while.
In 6th and 7th grade, I had a great English teacher who recognized that I actually remembered everything from previous years and didn’t need all the repetition that classes at that age tend to focus on, so she started giving me hall passes to go to the library on those class days, allowing me to explore whatever subjects I wanted, engage in creative writing projects, and otherwise stretch my mind instead of being locked into the classroom box. Doing that let me feel more free to continue to explore a wide range of topics as I continued through High School and into college, leading me to a degree and a career I never would have imagined back then!
I think my favorite year of school was my senior year of college. I had interesting studies and dated the wonderful man I eventually married. We had almost 44 1/2 tears together before he passed.
I can hardly remember… most likely First and Second grade.
