10 BACK-TO-SCHOOL ESSENTIALS
It’s nearly fall which means your doll will soon need all of those back-to-school essentials! We’ve rounded up the top ten school must-haves that your doll will need for the 2021-2022 school year. We don’t have grades in the UK but it has to be form 1 of the Grammar School (age 11-12) New school, smart new uniform and new subjects to learn. The best part was making new friends. That first day I made 5 new friends and 55 years later we are still the best of friends.
Third grade was my favorite. I loved my teacher, and I learned cursive!!!
My favorite grades in school was my high school years.
5th grade—my teacher became ill in September and had an older sub until Jan. 1st when the class was divided and I went to a teacher that would become my friend and mentor. She took me and other disadvantaged students to the monthly “Travel Log”, put on by a community organization. During the summer that year, she took me to local museums and the zoo, as well as out to her farm. She was the reason I went into teaching and I continued giving back to my students. I had a special needs 4-H club and special needs Girl Scouts unit. Their artwork was displayed at the county fair and at the nearby state fair. The parents were so proud of the ribbons their children won. I took my scouts to Chicago and to DC several times. Many of my girls had never even crossed the river into KY or gone anyway outside of our town. My 2 children are also teachers. They give back to their students too.
i hated school in the first grade i had a bad teacher i,m left handed and she used to make me sit on my left hand and try to write with my right, my mom and doctor went to school and got it strighted out but then she ignored me the rest of the year but in the 5th grade a miss whiting helped me like school and got me caught up. thank you to pixie faire for all the nice things you do
