10 BACK-TO-SCHOOL ESSENTIALS
It’s nearly fall which means your doll will soon need all of those back-to-school essentials! We’ve rounded up the top ten school must-haves that your doll will need for the 2021-2022 school year. My favorite grade is 12th! I’ve had several fun music classes and also the chance to do a lot of sewing!
I loved high school thanks to Concert Choir! My senior year (1976) was during the Bicentennial celebrations and our choir visited Washington DC, and Gettysburg PA. It was a very moving experience!!
5th grade was the best year because of our teacher. He took a personal interest in seeing each and every student succeed. He always spent his free time on the playground with his students. instead of in the teachers lounge.
I guess my favorite was grade 3, because of my teacher, Miss Burnbreyer. Probably not spelling her name right, it was hard for us kids to learn. At first we all just called her “Teacher”. It is so funny thinking back on that. She was kind and was probably fresh out of college. She invited a small group of us girls to go to her apartment after school in June and then go to her mom’s big house which felt like an old mansion to me. She got married in June and told us what church and the time, so we could watch her go down the aisle. It was the 1st wedding I ever went to, in a big church in Detroit, Michigan.
I didn’t like any particular grades in school but I really enjoyed Nursing school. In a smaller class of Nursing students it was more fun even though it was hard work.
