Let's get started...
Supplies Needed:
-10” x 8” scrap of knit fabric
-Hair elastic
-Thread
-Scissors
-Sewing machine
Step 1: Cut two 10” x 4” strips of fabric with the stretch lengthwise.
Step 2: Fold strips in half lengthwise, stitch with a ¼ seam allowance.
Step 3: Turn strips RIGHT side out.
Step 4: Tie a knot in the middle of the elastic.
Step 5: Loop one strip through the elastic.
Step 6: Pin the ends together with the seams centered and facing out.
Step 7: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance. Clip corners.
Step 8: Flip the strip and line the elastic with the seam, pin.
Step 9: Stitch with a ¼” seam allowance.
Step 10: Loop second strip though the first.
Step 11: Repeat STEPS 5-9 for other side.
You're all done! How cute is this?!?

My tip is I always use a spray bottle of water or use detangling spray for hair, always works for us!
ONE OF MY FAVORITE HAIR STYLING TIPS IS… match your Bobby pins to the hair color. I never realized that was why Bobby pins came in other colors until college. When your pins match, they hide so much better for buns, etc.
My tip works for humans and dolls. Don’t use rubber bands in your hair. If somehow you happen to have one in your hair, cut it out to remove it. Any other way will likely rip out hair. Thanks for this tutorial, Marilyn!
Braids or French braid are my favorite hair styles.
One of my favorite hair styling tips is…to use a good wig brush and let your children play with and style the hair themselves, it seems the hair ultimately ends up in less than perfect condition anyway, so… keep in mind that the head can be replaced if necessary. Fix in ponytails or braids to keep the hair less matted and frizzed.
