My favorite holiday tradition is setting a date with my grandchildren to take them to buy a special figurine ornament for their Christmas tree. I get excited to watch them make their choices and to share them with their parents. Later in life I hope they will remember their “Memaw’s” favorite Christmas tradition.
My favorite holiday tradition is giving homemade gifts to family and friends. This year two special little girls received handmade Christmas dresses and knit capes for their 18 inch dolls.
My favorite holiday tradition was when we were young with children and didn’t have much money for presents, so the children, my husband and I would make presents for family and friends. It was a nice time for us to do something as a family.
My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies with my daughter.
My favorite holiday tradition is making Christmas cookies and pies on Christmas Eve while watching holiday movies or listening to (and singing) Christmas carols together as a family. When the baking is done, we like to pile into the car with cocoa and drive around town looking at all of the beautiful Christmas lights. How wonderful it is when that day falls on a Sunday or Wednesday, because we can enjoy the holiday lights as we return home following our wonderful evening church service with our church family. God is so good! We are very blessed. Happy holidays to everyone!
