I love to sew and mainly do it as a way to finish smocking projects. Being retired, I can easily spend 20 hours a week with a needle in my hand or at my machine.
I sew to keep my mind and imagination sharp and creative. Also to relax and maybe take out some aggressions. And just because I love it. How much, varies from compulsive can’t quit to infrequent but always an important part of life.
I’m a multi-crafter. I love all three crafts. I usually always spend my evenings working on my projects. I often use repurposed fabric to make my doll outfits. Any way we can reuse and recycle is of benefit for all. The historic outfits are so lovely!
I sew as a hobby and to do mending. I’m lucky to spend an hour a week on it. Oh, how I wish I had more time to spend on this.
I have made several of your patterns for my Great Nieces. They love making up stories to go with the outfits. Looking forward to making more this year.
