I sew primarily because I need to and love to. I sew all my own garments and for my granddaughter and other little girls. But I really love to sew quilts and crafts best of all. I would put in 12 to 30 hours a week at the sewing machine in winter but in summer it a bit sparse
I sew mostly as a hobby or for family and friends. I spend anywhere from a few hours and up depending on what I’m working on.
I sew, knit and crochet primarily as a hobby and on average I spend couple of hours per week doing different projects for my kids. I love sewing doll clothes for my daughter’s 18" doll as well as costumes for Halloween. I recently crocheted a pink case for my child’s recorder to take it to school. I embroidered a few musical notes on it and it was a great success! Knitting, however, is my greatest passion! I knit whenever I have time!
I sew, crochet, and do bobbin lace as a hobby right now. I plan to start sewing classes soon as I have found a real interest and need in my community. I spend between 10 and 15 hours a week at the moment but this will increase as I turn my hobby and passion into a business.
