“I sew primarily to learn new sewing techniques, to be creative and to make and sell some of the things I make. I love giving handmade gifts, creating unique things for myself and others. On average, but not recently I spend 3-5 hours a week sewing. In 2018 my goal is to find more hours in the week to sew and create for myself, family, friends and charity.

I sew primarily as a hobby. On average I spend only three or four hours a week. 2018 is going to be the year of finishing projects and in doing so, making more room in my craft/sewing/workroom to do more projects. I have a small fortune invested in supplies for all the projects I have started and want to do. My biggest stumbling block is not enough room to work on the projects or even find the materials I need. So, I have started the year making dog coats for a local dog rescue group using material I bought long ago to make coats to sell. It’s time to use the fabric up and what a better way than doing it for the little fuzzies who need them. At this point I have 4 more coats to sew to make 18 coats for them. AND I emptied a very large storage container! Next is making faux felt food for a little girl’s tea party whose birthday is in May. That will clear the room even more. But in-between, I want to make some outfits for my doll, just for some creative fun!!!
i sew knit and crochet also machine embroidery i make a lot of doll clothes all for the 18 inch doll i love to make them. put i also quilt some.
I sew primarily as a hobby, making clothes for dolls and fun costumes for my children. 2017 was my first full year of starting my small business, Stitchery by Snowflake, and I look forward to continuing to grow it in the coming year. On average, I sew around 15 hours per week and wish I could do more. Thank you to Pixie Faire and all the amazing pattern designers for this give-away.
I sew (longarm quilt) primarily as a lonely home business. On average, I spend 30 hours per week on customer projects. I rescue dolls … clean them and make clothes for them. I hope to donate some of them to charity auction. Some of the 18" dolls watch me from the table in my quilting room and keep me company. Their cheerful faces make me smile!
