Boy, I wish I could say I sew for profit, but it is mainly a hobby that I dearly love! Making my own clothes meant I could dress really well, and sewing for my 7 siblings was a blast. Now it is dressing dolls, and starting my granddaughters on the stitching trail. Thanks for helping indulge my passion!
“I sew primarily as a hobby although I do sell the occasional doll oitfit to a friend. On average, I only get to spend a few hours a week in my sewing room. But in 2018 I plan to make more time for doll clothes.
I sew, knit, crochet, smock, quilt, embroider and cross stitch for relaxation and as a hobby. I usually spend about 20 hours per week or more if needed to finish big projects. I enjoy making things for my granddaughters, my self and my home.
I sew primarily as a hobby together with knitting, crocheting, embroidery. All come in handy when making various doll clothes and accessories for Granddaughter. I can sew anywhere from 10 to 40 hours a week. Retirement is grand!!
