I sew for primarily for fun. Sewing doll clothes and trying new patterns is what I enjoy doing the most. I lead a group that sews 100 wardrobes for 18 inch dolls. Receive donations of the dolls and sew a totes to hold the doll which has a pocket to hold the clothes and distribute them to various charities at the holidays. The wardrobe includes dress, tunic and leggings, shirt and top, jeans and a top, nightgown, sleeping bag, pair of dress shoes, pair of sneakers, purse, panties and a pair of hand knitted socks. I sew primarily as a hobby and spend a few hours each week as time allows.
I sew primarily as a hobby on average, I spend roughly four hours a week sewing for my extensive doll collection, but my new years resolution is to sew a lot more this year.
I sew primarily for both as a hobby and my home business. I used to spend about 5 hours a day sewing, but now that I have small children I only get about 2 hours after they go to bed.
I sew for many reasons. I sew as a challenge, as a hobby, as rewards for girls who have behavior issues and for sale to friends.
