What a wonderful pattern you have created! I have been sewing for my dolls for more than 60 years. I sew in spurts—many hours one week, fewer the next. I sew for my American Girl doll and others I have from my childhood. I think sewing for the dolls is relaxing and soothing to do. I make many outfits for AG dolls for the granddaughters, since my doll has a rather extensive wardrobe. But there is always room for more!
“I sew primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend 8 in a week making doll and baby clothes and occasionally sewing clothes for myself or my daughter or projects for friends. I also enjoy sewing projects for my home like pillows and curtains.
I sew, knit and crochet primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend about 20-30 hours a week doing one or more of these things.
