I currently knit about 20 hrs a week as a hobby, usually while watching TV. However, now that I am finally able to set up my sewing “room”, I plan to focus on sewing for my many doll friends. I now have the time to “relearn” everything from the LJ Design & Pattern Academies. YAY!
Right now I sew as a hobby — maybe 3-5 hours a week. It’s possible that someday I will sew for income, but right now I’m having a lot of fun sewing doll clothes and finetuning my skills. I learned to sew at a young age and have always had a sewing project in progress since. I started sewing doll clothes several years ago for my nieces…they’ve since grown up and moved on to teenage interests. But I’m still playing with dolls! :D
I sew primarily as a hobby and the amount of time I spend on it varies greatly. I would like to spend about 10 hours per week but we are working on fixing up our home right now so that isn’t happening.
I sew 18" doll clothes as a hobby and then sell them with the profits going to Operation Smile.
I see and crochet primarily as a hobby. I enjoy making things for my daughters and now granddaughters. I spend up to 20 plus hours a week depending on what I’m working on and how soon I need it
