I sew as a hobby and as an outlet for my creative ideas. When I am involved in a project, I will devote 5 hours or more a day until it is finished. Then, I might not sew for several weeks.
I sew and embroider as a hobby making items for several charities and also gifts for family and friends. I learned early on that I could never make this a home business because my personal stress of needing to do everything ‘perfectly’ for a client was way too great for me. I generally spend 5-10 hours per week with my hobby.
I sew primarily as a hobby. Sewing is a dress reliever for me! I sew 5-6 hours a week, so fun!
I sew, shop for fabrics and trims, and sit at my drawing board making adjustments to existing patterns in order to create something new and different, primarily for 18 inch dolls. I quilt and do other crafts for self and charity. My time in the sewing room varies from 8 hours to about 20 hours per week, in accordance with spare time and requests.
I sewnprimarily as a hobby and only get to spend maybe an hour on it each week.
