I sew/quilt/knit/crochet/craft primarily as a hobby and spend as many hours a day as I possibly can in my sewing room. Sometimes that’s only an hour, sometimes it’s all day. I always look forward to the days when i can lose myself in my sewing room and let the rest of the world go by. And my family and friends are the recipients of all that I create in that room.
I sew primarily as a hobby, but more recently I have been selling doll clothes locally. My sewing room is my version of a “man-cave”. I love having a specific area to spread out. For me it is very relaxing. On average, I spend about 15 hours a week working on projects for my family or making doll clothes for family, friends or for sale.
I sew/quilt and knit/crochet and embroider as a hobby. On average, I spend 30-40 hours/wk on my crafts. I love learning new techniques and perfecting my skills. I’ve finally reached a point climbing that learning curve where I can do most things, and that’s very liberating. Am currently enjoying toymaking and doll costuming.
I sew, knit, and crochet primarily as a hobby on average, I spend 8 to 10 hours a week in the winter and fewer in the summer.
