I sew and knit as a hobby.. It started with making doll clothes for my granddaughters American Girl and Bitty Baby. I was having so much fun with that size doll (my daughter had Barbies) that I bought a previously loved American Girl and Bitty Baby so I have models here when I am sewing/knitting.
I sew for a hobby. I was taught by my mother and grandmother. I sew for my granddaughters. I have an embroidery machine now I need to learn how to use. Right now I sew about 2 to 3 hours a week. Looking forward to retirement.
I sew primarily as a hobby, although I think I would like to start a business when my daughters get older. On average, I spend about 4-5 hours a week working on projects (some weeks are more, some less). I love the creativity—I would spend a lot more time on it if I could! Thanks to all the designers again for the great gifts!
