I sew primarily as a home business and also hobby. I sew about 8 hours a week.
I sew, quilt, paper craft and crochet as a hobby. If I had to do it as a business I would not enjoy it as much. When I was younger I did it on commission.
I mostly knit, but I love sewing doll clothing for my home business. Just about every spare minute is devoted to knitting. I knit while a passenger in a car, while waiting for appointments, always while watching TV. Not because I have to, but because I love to knit.
I sew knit and crotchet as a hobby, to make clothes for my grand daughters dolls and for fund raising events like schools Red Cross and other charities
“I sew and machine embroider primarily as a hobby or to sell items. On average, I spend about 5-6 hours daily when the basement is warm enough. It’s supposed to be about 4 degrees today, so I won’t be sewing!
