I sew, knit, and crochet both as a hobby and for my home business. I love being creative and spend time everyday doing it. I typically spend upwards of 20 hours a week sewing, knitting, or crocheting.
I sew primarily as a hobby and I do not spend nearly the time I used to. Finances do not allow for fabric and patterns now that the prices have gone so high… And in Canada everything is more expensive!
But I love seeing!!
I sew a hobby primarily. I make crafts for my animal shelter’s Christmas fair, like cat bow ties and doll clothes. I’ve been sewing American Girl clothes to donate to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation so the girls can get a Christmas present. I also like to make girls simple dresses for charity. (not the pillowcase ones) I repair and upcycle clothes for my family. When I sew for me it is mostly a dress or two a year, and I spend about 2 hours a week, maybe 30 minutes a night relaxing by cutting out a pattern or sewing.
“I sew primarily as a hobby. I spend 4 or 5 hours a week ( on the weekends) sewing 18" doll clothes for my granddaughter.
I knit as a hobby, about fifteen hours a week. I sew doll clothes as a gift for my granddaughter, so just occasionally.
