I sew and crochet mainly as a hobby right now. However, I am working up to making it a business. I am taking a break from sewing, because we have a lot of things going on in our family right now. Before the holidays I was spending approximately 20+ hours per week sewing to build up my business inventory. I need to get back to work, but I’m trying to add in some crochet, since I can do it on the go.

I sew and knit primarily as a hobby. On average, I haven’t had time to pursue these activities on a weekly basis, but am retired as of January 1st and have made a goal to make 3 doll outfits per month this year for my 3 granddaughters’ Christmas presents for 2018.

I sew because I love it! I’ve sewn since I was at my mama’s knee helping her make quilts. I’ve collected special dolls all my life and started making outfits for them as a hobby. Later I sold a few dolls dressed to the hilt, and came to realize how much that could help us financially. I hope to set up a web page and sell off some duplicates (not my AGs) and older dolls. I spend at least 8 to 10 hours a day sewing for my dolls, crocheting and cross stitching; whatever my time allows. I find it very therapeutic. I’d be lost without my dolls to sew for.

I sew and crochet as a hobby about 3-4 hrs a week. If I’m lucky I can squeak in a little more while waiting at dance classes.

I sew primarily as a hobby, and I spend not enough time each week. :)
