Currently, I sew as a hobby; but wish to develop some type of sewing related business. I try to spend every evening sewing, but much of my time is spent going through my stash, arranging, fabric with just the right trim, buttons, etc. I change my mind a lot & can’t begin until I am sure I have just the right combination to make a really great outfit. All details are planned before I begin—I’m not sure if that exactly counts as sewing time or not.

I sew primarily as a hobby. On average, I spend 3-5 hours per week sewing. Now retired, I plan / look for projects that will inspire my 9 year old granddaughter while learning to sew.

I see primarily as a hobby on average I spend 5 hours a day sewing for my family.

I sew for a hobby, 20-30 hours a week. It’s relaxing to sew so I try to do as much as I can.

I sew doll clothes for my granddaughter and other items for our church’s Honduras mission. If I had my way, I’d sew most of the time. But…
