A cultural tradition I take part in are the feasts of God, Passover, Tabernacles etc. I would like to see a pattern from many of the different countries.
Our family didn’t value traditions when I was a child. As an adult I spent nearly four years in Central America and was fascinated with the culture of the various countries. I particularly liked Guatemala for their traditions and love of color.The weaving and various traditional clothing was a delight . The women wore clothing they hand wove and enhanced the outfits with embrodery and woven sashes. I’d love to see my dolls in dresses with Guatemala and Mexican influences.

A favorite cultural tradition I take part in or find interesting is… A cultural pattern I would like to see offered at Pixie Faire would be: After eating it our entire lives, my siblings and I have just learned how to make Norwegian Lefse. We had so much fun and are planning to make it a holiday tradition. I think it would be fun to have a pattern for a traditional Norwegian Bunad.
We don’t carry on many cultural traditions but my godly family heritage is priceless to me and that is what I get to pass down to my children and grandchildren.
