A favourite cultural tradition I take part in every year is Burns night as my Husband is part Scottish ….we eat Haggis, Neeps n Tatties and drink Scotch Whisky ….nice and warming for a cold January 25th night …..xx

A favorite cultural tradition I take part in or find interesting is celebrating the Jewish Holidays. A cultural pattern I would like to see offered at Pixie Faire would be for tallit (Jewish prayer shawls).
A favorite tradition in our house was to travel with dinner. I would make a complete meal from another country and we would try to dress like the country as well. My kids have kids of their own and carry on the same tradition. My granddaughters would love to dress their dolls in These Highland outfits. One of these is a Mac Dougal. I tried to get a pattern from Nancy’s Notions a few years ago, but it was discontinued. It has several countries in the pattern. I would be great to see Asian, African, British, Eastern European etc. in collections.
