My favorite sewing tool is my sewing gauge (well actually I have 4 of them!). I use it not only for measuring but mine also has a pointed end which is good for turning out corners.

My favorite sewing tool..that is tough to pick just one. I have found a lot of great tools over the years. For making doll clothes, I use my walking foot a lot as well as my seam gauge.

It is very difficult to say what is one’s favorite sewing tool. The sewing machine, your scissors, and iron are the most used, but so many other things that make sewing much easier, and without many of these items one would not get the professional results.

After sewing human clothes for 50 years I discovered 3 great tools once I started sewing doll clothes at 70 years old….a tailor’s clapper, a jean jig for thick seams, and coffee filter papers for everything! I don’t know why I waited so long to learn about these things…picked up hints from Pixie Faire comments. Thanks to you all.

My favorite sewing notion is the Clover Protect and Grip Thimble. I have always felt awkward using a thimble and I like this one because the flexible rubber grips my finger snugly so that it makes it easy for me to use.

The Iron. No matter what I am doing, (sewing by hand or machine, embroidery, lace, gathering, fitting sleeves, etc.) how it looks always seems to come down to pressing! My grandmother told me that you can just about save anything with a good pressing! ;-D
My very favorite tool is the stuffing tool from Barbara Willis 2 sizes both are wonderful puts very small tufts of fiberfill into fingers, toes and then I finish with the larger one Stuffing does not clump or become a knot. Makes quick work of stuffing and a great finished product

My favorite sewing tool is my pressing ham because it does so much to shape the garments as I sew. Pressing is really seems to transform the 2 dimensional fabric into a 3 dimension form that fits the person (or doll) wearing it.
