My favorite sewing tips are not unique……have a good seam ripper, you are gonna need it….make more than one copy of your doll clothes patterns, they can get lost or “used up” over the course of much sewing…..keep patterns in a 3-ring binder…..and enjoy yourself!

My favorite tip is to be sure to use the right needle for the material and then I keep the needle package by the machine so if after a few days of not sewing, I can remember which needle is in the machine. Plus I use a highlighter to mark on the case in the needle slot when I put the needle back so I remember that it had been used before.

My favorite sewing trip is: I almost always line a bodice, whether with sleeves or sleeveless. It covers the seams and on a sleeveless dress you don’t have to fuss with binding or trying to hem a curved area. Works beautifully.

My favorite sewing tip is to prewash (preshrink) your fabrics as soon as you buy them. That way when yo are ready to sew, you can go ahead and sew and don’t have to wait to wash your fabric. .
