“My favorite sewing tip or trick is using non-woven sew-in interfacing to trace my patterns onto. The patterns last forever, are easy to store, and can be fitted onto the doll, like cloth, to check fit and make changes.

“My favorite sewing tip or trick is to always always press your seam open, press everything.

One of my favorite sewing tips is to always iron seams as you go. It makes everything look so much better!

Nancy

My tip is to continually keep your sewing area clean and then you can find whatever you are looking for. Another tip is to put patterns into a binder that has dividers for dresses, pants, pjs, etc.

Colleen

My favorite tip is to put two door stoppers under the far side of the machine. This makes the machine tilt slightly towards you and gives me better visibility, now I don’t hunch over the machine as much!
