My favorite sewing tip is always wash and press fabric before using in a pattern.
My favorite tip Is to serge the raw edges of my fabric after I’ve pre-shrunk it. That way I know it has been pre-washed when I have it stored.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to choose fabrics you love and not be afraid to combine them in unusual and surprising ways.
My favorite sewing tip or trick is to always challenge yourself to do something you’ve never done before. There are lots of dol patterns out there look for ones using new techniques you haven’t tried before
My favorite sewing tip or trick is using double folded bias binding for facing, instead of turning edges under. First open the binding and stitch onto right side of the garment using the first fold as a guide, then refold the binding, turn under and top stitch close to the edge. It makes a neat, finished neckline.
