My favorite tip is: a seam or intersection of seams that is too thick can be flattened with a little hammering. I have a small jewelry hammer that I use for this. I also cover the seam with a scrap of muslin to protect the fabric.

My favourite sewing tip or trick is to press as I go.

My favorite tip is when you can not use the fabric for anything else Place craps in to garbage bag, when bag is full either get or make a pillow case fill it with scraps donate it to an animal shelter for a animal.

My favorite sewing tip or trick is to use coordinating rather than matching. Stitches are easier to see for both young and older eyes.

My favorite sewing tip is to use a zigzag stitch over gimp cord for gathering. No need to worry about breaking gathering stitches as the cord is very strong. It can also be removed very easily once the gathered piece is securely stitched.
