My favorite fabric to sew with is cotton blend. I like the look and feel of the cotton, but the polyester makes it a little more resistant to shrinkage and wrinkling.
My favorite fabric to sew with is cotton, as it’s just easiest to work with… but the best part is that you can find prints in the correct scale for the dolls!

My favorite fabric to sew is wool, though I don’t often have the opportunity to use it. I was so afraid of wool until I used it, and then found it beautiful and even easy to use.
My favorite fabric is cotton, particularly for dolls and their clothes. Computer-printing my own designs works best on cottons. Used cotton bed sheets from the thrift stores are outstanding because of the high thread counts and low cost.

Crazy as it sounds, I have enjoyed sewing with polyester. I loved doing the “80’s Ensemble “ with polyester I found in my stash from the 1980’s I had bought when my children were small!!! LOL

Quilter’s cotton is easy for coordinating colors for outfits. Its washability is great for doll clothes. Narrow wale corduroy makes beautiful jackets, skirts, dresses. I also up- cycle used clothing, various types .

My favorite fabric to sew with is crepe backed satin. I love how it looks when making dresses for dolls. The crepe back gives it a slight rigidity which makes it drape beautifully.
My favorite fabric to sew with is tulle. It can be used alone or added to so many other fabrics for a one of a kind look. Sparkles, sheen, fog, muting, you name it, it can be achieved with tulle. For the apparel, quilt, around the house or pictorial sewer, gotta love it!

So hard to chose just one. I love vintage cotton velvet and slipper satin. Linen is lovely but my favorite if I have to chose is organdy. I love it and have since I was a child.

I’ve sewed with quilting cotton more than any other fabric, especially for doll clothes. Recently I’m more into apparel fabrics. My favorite fabric from this week is cork. ;)
Anything with rayon in it! I know…it’s fussy and difficult but soooo drapey!
My favorite fabric is a good cotton or cotton blend. It is forgiving and flexible. Easy for corrections or additions.
