Today is Day 4 of the 12 Days Of Christmas!

Today we are giving away a 4 item collection featuring the new 18 inch Nanea Mitchell doll from American Girl. We love this doll! She has a new face mold which provides a fresh new look for pictures and displays. She is a historical themed doll, featuring the 1940's time period.     Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

    “My favorite era of clothing and fashion is... [insert time period here] I'd love to see a pattern for [insert specific clothing item]... “

    I love all fashion eras especially 50’s when I grew up. Agree with post above need patterns for beginning seamstress.

    My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the Renaissance period. I’d love to see a pattern for a Renaissance gown.

    My favorite era of fashion would probably be this era right now! I’d love to see some modern patterns for the AG doll.

    We have quite a few dolls, and several different eras set up in our doll room. My DH and DD laugh when I have separated the room into the “historic” side and the “modern” side. I think my favorite era has to be Felicity and the colonial Williamsburg style dresses. I love the formal look of that era. I also really like the era of Cecil and Marie Grace from Victorian New Orleans.
