Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My favorite era of clothing is modern. I like what is in fashion now. Thanks for the great giveaways and contests, they are so much fun.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is… the 1950’s I’d love to see a pattern for for a coat with leggings for the winter. I grew up during this time period and I have several pictures of my cousin and me dressed up in our dressy coats with matching leggings at Christmas time. I would love to be able reproduce this look with two of my American Girl dolls. It would be nice if the pattern included a hat that tied under the chin and the coat had a fur collar.
“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is…the modern time, because thats what my daughter would love & identify with. Although I love the options of adding to the mix with other eras & cultures. I’d love to see a pattern for accessories, especially undergarments, socks & shoes, hats, etc. all that said & i know my daughter would also be obsessed with her 18" girl in a wedding dress & stuff like that.
“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1800’s and early 1900. The clothing was so elegant at that period in time…lots of lace, ruffles and tucks. So beautiful and classic.
I’m interested in early 20th Century fashion—not the stereotypical frilly Victoriana that’s romanticized from that era, but the more everyday clothes that would have been worn by people outside the elite. I’d particularly like to see more boy’s clothes from that era, like some version of the sailor suit that reoccurs so often in pictures form that era. Thanks!
