Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is late 50’s and early 60’s. I’d love to see a pattern for clothes styled like Jackie O.
The 40’s. I grew up during then and wore pleated skirts with straps as the one shown that my mother made for me.
My favorite era of fashion and clothing is between 1900 and 1910. In researching for genealogy, I have found wedding photos and I find the wedding attire so amusing, but also so detailed. I would like to see a pattern for a girl’s 1910 dress outfit with a bonnet. A pattern for Native American attire would be awesome, too.
I like almost every historical period. I write historical romances and I’m working on dressing my dolls like my characters. I just wish there were more historical patterns for boy dolls.
I love history and the history of clothing, in particular; I suppose, for that reason, I don’t have just one favorite clothing period. Colonial, Edwardian, Regency, Victorian, Romantic, etc….each are my favorite at one time or another!
I would like to see more patterns that suggest and help create individuality; I love it when I see a new adorable doll dress that I can’t immediately tell what pattern it came from! Giving options for collars and sleeves, necklines and cuffs, etc. help with this; as do suggestions for adding embroidery, maybe a little smocking and such…spur our imaginations on.
I also would like to see more patterns for traditional dress/ folk dress from around the world…those that are true in detail to the lovely countries and villages they represent. Thank you so much for your forum…I enjoy your service with Pixie Faire so much!
