Oh, I LOVE the 40’s. I have purchased patterns for me as they are re-released and just love the way they look. Wearing hats and gloves, suits to go shopping. . . (Plus, my Granny always looked so sharp in her pictures from the 40’s!) The gents didn’t look half bad either! :) (But then again, my grandpa was ALWAYS handsome, regardless of decade. :) )
Thanks so much for the opportunity to ramble on! The doll and the clothes are adorable with this giveaway!

My favorite era of fashion is the 1940’s. I would like to see a pattern featuring the tailored suits that women wore back than.

“My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1700s. There were a variety of styles depending on where in the world you lived. Everything from simple gathered skirts and bodices to the full side hipsters in France. Such a fun century for clothing. Being of Scottish decent, I’d love to see a pattern for 1700s Scotland. Plaids are always a fun touch too.

My favorite era of clothing and fashion is early 1900’s through 1950’s because I have Samantha and Kit. I’d love to see a pattern for more active wear from those time periods!

I love current, up to date clothing for the dolls. So any new trends translated into patterns is what I’m looking for. I do also like steam punk.
