Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

Era I like is Modern. Any pattern with a minimal sleek look.
My favorite era of clothing is the 1940’s/1950’s. Born in early 50’s, Mom had a lot of patterns for the 40’s that I wore and loved them. I still dress in the 40/50 era style and get compliments.
I adore that orange romper!! These pieces are a new look compared to the patterns that I have.
The best thing about American Girl sewing is that the project size is not so small as to be miserable. I tried sewing for Barbie – ugh – ended up hand stitching everything. Wellies are fun but still a little small to work with. I sew as a way to connect with my Granddaughters. Four year old Penny took me to her room to see her birthday doll Alaina of Avalor. She said, “Grannie, don’t you think Willa’s clothes would fit Alaina?”
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is late 1700’s. Oh, and the mid 1800’s, but then lately I really like early 1900 to 1920. Hard to pick. This is why I have so many patterns from Pixie Faire.
