Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My favorite era of clothing is Victorian. I would love to see a pattern for a full length wool coat and coordinating muff. :)
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is actually anything between the Great Depression and the 1950’s that is historically accurate. However, I am also strongly drawn to clothing that is representative of characters from children’s books and movies. I just love giving an outfit to a child when they look at it and immediately relate to it from some character that they recognize and love from literature. Those garments just spark their creativity and role playing in a real and fascinating way. This brings me great joy and further pleases me to know that the child is then encouraged to read more and expand their world. Modern clothes are fun too, but I just don’t see as much role playing or inquisitive desire to learn from those current fashion gifts. The kids then focus on fashion and on/off doll dressing rather than actual intellectual growth or interaction. Don’t get me wrong, there is certainly a benefit to developing a fashion sense for themselves and learning to coordinate fashion and color combinations. I just think doll dressing can be so much more inspirational. I do also strongly believe that doll play can be a great opportunity to encourage children to learn to sew themselves. Therefore, I always try to gear the doll-related present to the interests of each particular child rather than my own personal taste. All sewing makes me blissfully happy. Still, I always seek out the potential outcome of introducing children to the joys of sewing on their own for themselves and for future generations. — Thank you to each designer and contributor to this Twelve Days of Christmas giveaway. It is always exciting to hope and dream of one day winning. I always love reading everyone’s entries to see what inspires them as well. There is so much to learn from everyone. One of my favorite eras is the 70’s. I’d love to see a pattern for belllbottom pants and halter top.

I love so many eras. From Victorian to civil war and the 1940s, 50s to present time. I would love to see more patterns for evening wear. The elegance you see from all the eras is just breathtaking. I’m obsessed with fine details.
