Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

I have 3 favorite fashion eras, Edwardian (1900’s, 1940’s, and 1950’s. I sew for the 1950’s the most because that was the decade of my childhood. I would like to see a pattern for the winter coat set I wore in the early 1950’s. It included the coat, bonnet style hat, muff, and leggings (not like today’s leggings, these were very baggy because we stuffed our dress down in them). Everything was made of wool.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the 1970’s. I’d love to see a pattern for an Ike Jacket pantsuit. Every girl I knew in the 70’s had one (my mom made mine for me).
My favorite éra of clothing is 1930s.
My favorite era for my dolls, is the current era, but with touches of the 1960s thrown in.
“My favorite era of clothing is French and Indian War/ pre- colonial. I’d love to see a pattern for a doll’s dress from this time period! My 12 yr old daughter is interested in this part of American History and plans to apply to become a Jr Living Historian at a nearby site.
