Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

I love the 18 inch dolls. When I was a girl I didn’t have many dolls so when I saw this type of doll I was awe stricken. I told myself that I was collecting patterns for my granddaughters so when they got American girl doll types I would be ready willing and able to make clothes for them. But I started making them for me instead. I have 4 dolls 3 used (by my granddaughters) and one new one I bought for myself.
My favorite era is the 50’s. I just love that type of clothing. My next favorite is the the 70’s. The hippie style that was in when I was a young woman. But all the Pixie Faire patterns are amazing. I love them all!!!
My favourite era of clothing is the 1960s and I’d love to see a Mary Quant monochrome style dress
Medieval clothing is so beautiful but simple and has inspired many pieces of clothing in movies!
