Many of you have large collections of dolls, or sew for someone who does! We'd love to know more about the time period or era your dolls live in. Are they historical, if so from which era? Are they modern girls, is so which style do they prefer (boho, rocker, sporty, etc)? We'd love to know! To enter today's giveaway - simply respond to this post and complete this sentence:

My granddaughter has recently requested and drawn a multi-fringed dress. So – at this point I’d say my favorite era is the 1920’s. I’d like to see a pattern for a fringed flapper dress.
My favorite era of clothing and fashion is the Edwardian era. I’d love to see a pattern for a garden party dress with all the underpinnings – the high-collared lacy dress, often in white, with the layers of lacy petticoats. I’ve seen dresses that focus on satin, but not much of a focus on lace.
My fave period clothing is early 1900 and the white under pinings ,French sewing and pleats ,with insertion laces ,100percent Bateast cotton .
My favourite clothing era is the Victorian Era. The first American Girl doll I purchased was Samantha for my granddaughter Samantha. I then proceeded to make a whole wardrobe of drop waist dresses, coats and nightwear etc. She has outgrown her dolls now she’s a teenager but Samantha has kept and looked after the wardrobe I made her doll and her doll may well be kept for her own little girl someday.
