My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use a needle and thread. The thing I like most about it is I can control where my stitches go without worrying about impaling my finger with a machine (especially since I sew such small items). However, I would like to learn how to use my grandma’s Singer 401A with its knee pedal.
I use a Kenmore. The thing I like most about it is that it’s very convenient.
“I use a Brother Quattro and a Pfaff Tiptronic. The thing I like most about the Brother is the embroidery ability and the thing I like about the Pfaff is it’s a workhorse, lightweight and easy to use.
I use a Brother sewing machine and the thing I like most about it is the availability of accessories!
I have an old Viking from the 60’s. At that time it was one of the few machines that had a free arm & cams for different titches. My children used it for 4H sewing projects also. It is still working & I am now using it for doll clothes.
