My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use my singer ses2000 and like it more features and and remove part for armhole feature which helps with small items like the Pixie patterns have for 18 inch dolls.
I use a singer and a brother. I can’t remember the exact models, but they are both really basic. My favorite thing about them is that they are relatively inexpensive, so I won’t feel bad once I can’t use them anymore. I also love the fact that my singer has a thread cutter right on the machine.
“I use a 1903 Singer manual sewing machine. The thing I like most about it is I have more control on delicate fabrics.”
I use a Bernina 807 minimatic I bought after I graduated college while working at a fabric store. What I love about it is that it’s built to last and is simple to use. It still sews beautifully after 40 years! I also own an old Singer serger that I use occasionally but it is really temperamental and there are times that I just don’t want to fight with the darn thing! :-(
I use a Brother CS5055PRW sewing machine that my brother gave me for Christmas a few years ago. It sews beautifully and has handled every type of project and material that I’ve tried it with I’m still learning how to use all it’s features.
