My assumption is that most of us sew! We’d love to hear more about your sewing experience. Are you just learning to sew, or have you been at it for a while? Do you use a basic standard machine or one with all the bells and whistles? What about a serger, are you using one of those? (or wondering what in the world I’m talking about!)
To enter the giveaway simply respond to this post in the comment box below and complete this sentence:
"I use a [insert sewing machine type here]… The thing I like most about it is [tell us why]"
Comments must be left (on this blog post) by midnight (pacific) 12/29/2017.
One entry per person.
No purchase necessary, void where prohibited.
The winner will be chosen randomly from the comments received and contacted through the email provided in the comment.
We will choose a winner and modify this post tomorrow to let everyone know who won.
Okay, good luck, and if we’ve forgotten anything we will modify and/or update this post as needed.
Happy Holidays!

I use my mother’s machine. ’Nuff said?
I use a Viking Emerald The thing I like most about it is so many stitches without having to find the right cam (my old machine was an older Singer).
I have 6 different machines but the one I like and use the most is my singer I got when I was 18. What I like best is how durable it is and the 1 step buttonholer.
I use a new Janome. I used my 1968 Kenmore until last year when I started quilting. The Kenmore has been so reliable I tried to buy another one. I found out that Janome built the machines that were sold as Kenmores for years!
My favorite machine is my Babylock Ellisimo Gold Embroidery machine which allows me to be as creative as possible, Next it would be my Babylock Evolution 8-thread serger which stitches everything quick and durable. For quilting, nothing beats my Singer Featherweight for accuracy and reliability. I have stitched with several brands in the 60 out of 71 years of my life and the above three machines have been my favorites. I have started teaching some of my grandchildren.to sew and embroidery work. I’m hoping they will enjoy all of it as much as I have in my life.
